Angelica Panganiban says she’s no longer friends with Carlo Aquino

It seems like former couple Angelica Panganiban and Carlo Aquino are no longer in good terms after they made their fans believe that there is a possibility that they can get back together.

It can be recalled that Panganiban ang Aquino have been very close last year which led many fans to think they got back together. However, Panganiban said that she will sever ties with Aquino due to the overwhelming amount of negativity she has been receiving.

Panganiban also posted some cryptic posts about heartbreak on her social media accounts.

Since then, Aquino has also been spotted with a non-showbiz woman, model Trina Candaza, causing fans to speculate that he is already going out with her.

After the issue, Panganiban said during the finale presscon of ABS-CBN’s daytime show “Playhouse” that she is not yet ready to work with Aquino again.

“Hindi na muna siguro. Siguro panahon makakapagsabi. Kung buhay pa siguro ako nun,” Panganiban said talking about the chances on her working with her ex-boyfriend once again.

Reporters then asked her if she is still friends with Aquino to which the actress directly said, “No”.

She also said that they have not been communicating. “Matagal na rin. Basta matagal na rin [kaming walang komunikasyon],” she said.

She said that she just tried to stay civil with Aquino while they were still shooting some remaining scenes of “Playhouse”.

Panganiban added that she is just disappointed with Aquino and how their relationship ended.

The actress was also asked if she hoped that they will get back together. Panganiban did not answer directly but only told reporters that Aquino is still “fixing himself”.

“Yun ang sabi niya—umasa daw ako. So… Sa lahat naman ng sinabi niya, pinakita niya, yun naman ang hinihintay ko. Sabi niya, gusto niyang maging maayos siya. Baka inaayos niya ang sarili niya ngayon,” she said.

Panganiban and Aquino became a couple in the early 2000s after working together in the youth-oriented show “G-mik.” They were in a relationship for six years before breaking up.

However, they spent some time together last year causing speculations that they are now back in each other’s arms.

They also starred in their reunion movie titled “Exes Baggage” which hit Philippine theaters on September 26.
