Amy Smith went to Kitson Park in Torquay, England one day to spend quality time with her two-year-old daughter, Demi-Mai. Unfortunately, what was supposed to be a fun moment turned into a nightmare.
After playing around the playground, Mai happily slid down through the park’s slide. The next thing Amy saw was Mai's bloodied legs. Someone put broken glass on the slide.
"I'm really angry that someone would do that in a children's play park," Amy said in an interview.
Amy immediately brought her child to the hospital. Fortunately, she doesn’t need any stitches.

Amy already spoke to the people responsible for the park to get the mess cleaned up before the broken glass hurts another child again.
"I hope by bringing what happened to people's attention then it might help other parents avoid their children getting hurt,” Amy added.
She warned other parents and told them that they should be cautious if they plan on letting their children play in a public playground.
