Broadcaster Raffy Tulfo helped solve another issue on his show “Raffy Tulfo In Action.”
Complainants Ritchie and Jocelyn Salvador went to the host’s studio to complain about their encounter with a Department of Public Safety and Traffic Management (DPSTM) officer.
The couple accused DPTSM officer Jaime Locresio of physical abuse which took place somewhere in Caloocan city. Ritchie was crossing the street at a “No J-walk” zone when the officer called him off rudely.
The complainant showed an alleged video proof of Jaime getting physical him up on the streets. Unfortunately, the video did not give enough proof of his complaint because it only showed people breaking the two men apart.
When Raffy called in Jaime to explain his side, the officer said it was the other way around. According to him, Richie initiated a fight after he called off the pedestrian from crossing on the wrong way. He added that he soon found out the Richie was a Muay Thai boxer.
In order to appease both parties, Raffy suggested looking for the CCTV footage of their fight. His team took the complainants to Barangay 71 Zone 7 in Caloocan where they met with Jaime.
Unfortunately, the barangay officials explained that no footage of the fight was taken. This is because there were no cameras around the area when it took place. The officials explained that the previous camera recently got damaged.
Due to the lack of evidence, the Richie and Jaime agreed on putting an end to their squabble. The two signed a settlement agreement in front of witnesses in the barangay.
