Fruits high in calories are avocado (322 calories each), grapes (106 calories for every cup), mangoes (107 calories for every slice in half), and prunes (100 calories for every 5 pieces). In comparison, one cup of rice has an equivalent of 200 calories only. So, what will you choose ― one cup of rice or one slice mango?
2. Limit your consumption per day to at least three to four fruit servings.
According to medical experts, every person should only consume three to four fruit servings a day. One fruit serving should only be as follows: half slice of a mango, 12 pieces of grapes, one banana, one apple, or a half liter of fruit juice.
So, eating two whole mangoes is already equivalent to the maximum fruit servings a day. Consequently, consuming more than the maximum can lead to weight gain.
3. Always eat vegetables.
Fruits contain three times more calories than vegetables. Therefore, the reason that makes a person to gain weights faster.
Because vegetables have low levels of calories, you can freely consume cabbages, water spinach, cauliflower, broccoli, and Moringa Oleifera, and others. It’s advisable to eat two cups of vegetables every day.
