“Raffy Tulfo in Action” grants patient’s wish to go home to Surigao

A recent episode of “Raffy Tulfo in Action” has touched the hearts of netizens and viewers alike.

On Monday, June 18, a 47-year-old man named William Fabio sought the help of Raffy Tulfo and his team for a small wish he had. He said he wanted to go home to his family in Surigao, but he had no means to do so.

William was diagnosed with a terminal illness in the lungs. This means he needs special medical attention to be allowed to travel. According to his niece, Chedeng Estoy, the doctors said William was not allowed to board a plane going home because he needed to be on a steady supply of oxygen. Because of this, he was only allowed to travel either by sea or by land.

Chedeng also explained that William was confined to the Lung Center of the Philippines for 10 days. He was then advised to undergo radiotherapy for 30 days, but his niece said he didn’t want to continue with the treatment anymore. Rather, he now only wants to go back to his hometown so he could be with his family in his final days.

In addition to this wish, William asked if he can have oxygen supply equipment at their house so he could stay there comfortably. He also wants his wife to have a small business she can run so she can provide for their children once he’s gone.

According to his niece, William was the breadwinner of their family when he was still a fisherman. Unfortunately, he can no longer earn a living for them because of his medical condition.

Upon hearing William’s story, Raffy Tulfo immediately asked his team to get him and his family everything that they asked for. The TV host then gave the old man a hug, assuring him that his wishes will be granted.
