Parking attendant cares for ailing father even when at work

We all know the unquestionable love and sacrifice parents devote to their beloved children. They work, provide, guide, and care for us. However, when they can no longer work and their bodies give out due to the ravages of old age, will we be there to return the favor? For parking attendant Gilbert Jacob, the answer is a resounding “yes.”

After suffering and surviving two strokes, Gilbert’s father, Romy Jacob, just couldn’t live life like he used to. Romy served as the pillar for his family, providing strength and guidance for Gilbert and his siblings.

As if working as a parking attendant isn’t hard enough, Gilbert also sidelines by cleaning cars and selling balut. Since he doesn’t have a family of his own right now, he is doing all of this for his father.

Impressively, Gilbert doesn’t find it a hassle to bring his beloved father to work. This way, he can care for his old man while also earning a living at the same time.

He further narrated that going outdoors every now and then was good for his dad.

Many of us probably think that caring for an ailing father is a heavy cross to bear, but this parking attendant doesn’t let it get to him. His siblings may have had their fill of caring for their old man after the first stroke, but not Gilbert:
