One of the most stressful places in the world is aboard an airplane. Strangers huddled together in an aircraft, thousands of feet from the ground, can spell disaster at any moment. Apart from disasters that are out of our control, passengers should also be wary of rude riders. It’s a good thing that there are capable cabin crew, like a certain flight attendant named Tabitha, who can diffuse the situation.
Recently, a New York State government worker named Susan Peirez received backlash online. This was after she was recorded angrily demanding to be moved to a different seat. Upon realizing that she was seating beside Marissa Rundell and her eight-month-old son, this government employee started a fuss.
According to our source, Peirez didn’t like the fact that she would have to endure a child crying inside the plane. These concerns are no doubt valid, however, when she requested the flight attendant if she could change her seat, the female air hostess refused.
As seen on the video, Peirez threatened Tabitha, who was only doing her job, for rejecting her request. She said:
“Okay Tabitha, you may not have a job tomorrow.”
Because of this, the flight attendant told a crew member that she has authority to take Peirez off the plane. So, the lady started apologizing, but the former told her:
“You just screamed at a woman and her baby.”
Peirez continued apologizing and begging to retain her place on the plane, saying:
“I’m not screaming, I’ll be quiet now, please. Okay? I’m sorry, I was really stressed out. Please.”
However, it was already too late for her to say sorry. Her request was heard to no avail and crew members were already forcing her to get out of the plane.
Rundell, on the other hand, took to Facebook post to thank the lovely Delta flight attendant for not letting the arrogant woman bully them.
