Doctors truly deserve to be called “everyday heroes” of this world. They literally go through years and years of academics, training, and experience just so they could save the lives of others. Without them, a lot of people who we love and care for would not be with us today. I guess we could say that being a doctor the perfect mix of profession and passion. They are the people to amaze us every single day.
In a viral video that has been spreading recently all over social media, we got to witness a doctor working her magic. As we know, children are really curious during their “growing up” stages. They literally touch, play and at times, even eat anything that they see.
For this instance, a kid was rushed to the emergency room for swallowing a coin. Obviously, this is very dangerous as it could lead to choking and even worse complications after that. Luckily, this doctor was in to save the day once again.
She performed an operation that was truly professional and mind-blowing to see. With a nothing but a tube, a needle-less injection and the air surrounding everyone, she pulled off one of the greatest maneuvers to save the child’s life.
First, she put the tube in the child’s mouth. She probably aimed for the throat area because that was where the coin would most likely be in. On the other end of it, she inserted the injection. After which, pumped some air into the child. Then, she took off the injection, held on to the open end of the tube and bent the child over. After doing so, the doctor quickly pulled the tube out of the mouth and with it came the swallowed coin.
The child was crying, but in the end, it got a big hug from the doctor who did the successful procedure. A lot of netizens were in awe of what they just saw. The heroic video got thousands of views and shares. Meanwhile, the comments section had a lot of people commending her for doing such a noble act.
This was really such a great thing to witness. The next time you see your doctor, make sure to thank him or her for always watching out for you. You never know when you’ll need them, but when that time comes, they will surely do their best to help or even save you.
