It seems like Kim Chiu‘s good fortune is on a roll this 2018. After leading in Star Cinema’s newest horror comedy film “Da One That Ghost Away“, she has recently shared a proud moment in Instagram involving her brother, John Paul Chiu. Kim Chiu’s younger brother is now a certified pilot in Canada.
Although John Paul keeps a low profile as a pilot, his sister Kim excitedly shared his latest achievement to the online world. In an Instagram live video, Kim documented her first airplane ride with her brother on the cockpit.
Kim Chiu could not contain her excitement as the plane flew over Downtown Edmonton at 9:14 PM.
Lakambini Chiu, one of Kim Chiu’s older siblings, was also on the plane. She also works in the airline industry as a flight attendant. Kim revealed that her sister Lakambini was also very proud of John Paul and was crying throughout the flight.

Kim Chiu’s family life was no fairy tale. She was raised in a dysfunctional family where her parents were separated. Their separation led to Kim’s estrangement to her father and her siblings.
They eventually reunited in 2013. In the same year, her mother passed away due to brain aneurysm.

Since then, Kim took charge of her brother’s education and sent John Paul to Canada to become a pilot. No wonder Kim was feeling on top of the world after being in her brother’s flight for the first time. A proud sister moment, indeed!
