Mabalat Na Litrato Ni Loisa Andalio ‘Ikinagalit’ Ni Ronnie Alonte

Most people would say that relationships are complicated. Being a huge part of someone else’s life and trusting them not to break your heart is both a privilege and a risk. That’s why some people tend to get overprotective especially to matters concerning their significant others. Take, for example, Ronnie Alonte and Loisa Andalio.

About a week ago “The Good Son” star Loisa Andalio posted a photo of her enjoying a quick dip in the pool wearing a red swimsuit. The actress wrote on Instagram, “wish ko nasa beach ako ngayon (emojis)”

While many noticed Loisa’s undeniable beauty, some couldn’t help but feel uneasy towards Ronnie Alonte’s comment on her post. The Hashtag member wrote “Ano yan???” followed by three irate emojis. He even added a disturbing joke, “Pag nakita kita babalutan kita ng sako!” on the comments section. It may seem like a harmless comment from a loving boyfriend warning her girl not to show too much skin in public, but some people saw the actor’s comment as a red flag.

Those who found offense in Ronnie’s otherwise harmless comment may have thought that he was being a bad boyfriend to Loisa. Some Instagram users even accused the Kapamilya star of being a toxic boyfriend. But who could blame them? After all, at this day and age women are and should be allowed to wear whatever they want.

The point of some netizen’s negative reactions towards Ronnie’s comment is that it gives them a sense that Ronnie is objectifying his girlfriend by dictating what she should wear or what she should not. He should be giving Loisa the freedom to do what she likes, or in this case, what she wears, so as long as it does not hurt other people.

As for his fear that the Kapamilya actress may be showing too much skin, it shouldn’t be a big deal as there isn’t really anything vulgar about Loisa’s Instagram post. Further, should there be people lusting over Loisa’s photos, it’s not right to put the blame on his girlfriend. Instead, it should be other people’s responsibility to be decent enough not to exploit women.

In the end, it’s all a matter of perspective. It’s really up to the person to handle how they would react on their significant other showing a little bit more skin in public.
